The cover is bolted to the tank body and proper gaskets are provided to avoid leakages. Welded tank is also available.

Compact / Unit substations are self - contained units available in different designs and dimensions.
Each unit comprises the following assemblies:-
Breakdown Voltage test
One hermetically sealed transformer.
One metal clad SF6 / oil insulated ring main unit ( for package substation only)
One metal clad low voltage distribution panel

STC offers Power transformers up to a range of 5000 kVA and are suitable for commercial and industrial establishments. The power transformers are equipped with radiator and are with a sealed tank. Transformers with conservator can also be provided.

STC’s SLIM® Transformers, using DuPont NOMEX® high temperature resistant insulation are especially made to answer the requirements of the transformers wherein installation space and safety is to be considered.
